Executive Session: FAA Reauthorization

U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.), Chair of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, will convene a full committee Executive Session on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. ET to consider the Federal Aviation Administration Reauthorization Act of 2023 and Coast Guard promotions.

"I am pleased about the progress we’ve made – and continue to make – toward a bipartisan, comprehensive FAA reauthorization that includes many member priorities to ensure the United States remains the global leader in aviation safety and technology, protects aviation jobs, grows a highly trained, diverse workforce and strengthens transparency and protections for travelers," said Chair Cantwell. "More work remains, and I look forward to moving this legislation."
